Objects survey

The study and precise measurement of the objects on display is an essential phase for the manufacture and installation of customized mounts. This stage requires close communication between CUBIC, the museum curators and the museography designers.

Working with specialized measuring equipment, we carefully record all dimensions and key aspects of each object. The analysis of their support and fastening points allows us to determine how to hold them safely, minimizing any risk of damage or stress on them.
This information will be crucial for the design and manufacture of mounts that are not only safe and stable but also discreet, allowing each object to be the true center of attention.

The preliminary study of the artworks is also convenient to help prevent future errors in the sizing of the showcases and to allow the application of museography as designed in the project.
